Appetite For Awareness

With over a thousand gluten free people and supporters in attendance, Appetite of Awareness 2009 was definitely a success. When you walked into the Wachovia Center, you were greeted and signed in by friendly volunteers. As you continued, there was a long hallway of vendors offering things such as pizza, pastries, sauces, health drinks, vitamins, coupons, pastas, and others. Further on into the main doors of the stadium revealed a floor full of restaurants and chefs, offering gourmet gluten free food tasting. One of the events of the night included an iron chef competition, where the victory was taken by Pasta Pamodoro's own Pasquale Masters (Pasta Pomodoro is very recommended by the MyGlutenFreeNJ team, try it!). The night was also open bar, offering Woodchuck cider and Redbridge beer, among others. Overall, this event was a great time had by all who attended, and will not leave those who choose to attend next year's event wanting.
