We stopped at Panda House for take out one Friday night. They have the words GLUTEN FREE in large letters on their front window. How could we resist? We spoke with the owner and he set us up with Spare Ribs, House Special Fried Rice, General Tao’s Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, and best of all Egg Rolls! All GLUTEN FREE.

The place was clean and nicely decorated in a tasteful Asian theme. They have an extensive menu, offering lots of dishes that could be made for the gluten free diet.

The General Tao’s Chicken was excellent. Visually appealing and served with broccoli, the chicken golden brown, tender and cooked to perfection. I would definitely order this again.

House Special Fried Rice was made with vegetables, chicken and shrimp. Its flavor was smooth and delectable.

Panda House uses Gluten Free Soy Sauce, so the sauce on our Chicken and Broccoli had a nice golden brown color and tasted superb. Another dish we’d order again.

Our favorite was the Spare Ribs. This is the first Chinese Restaurant we’ve found that has Gluten Free spare ribs. We could eat these every day. They were great!

And now for the Egg Rolls. These were a real treat! Made with rice wraps, they are stuffed with the usual veggies and shrimp. The outer wrap was crispy but the stuffing inside stayed fresh and tender. They made a great appetizer to a perfect meal.

The Panda House definitely goes out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and well fed. They are open to modifying almost anything on their menu to be made Gluten Free. The management was very knowledgeable on cross contamination issues and making sure everything served was safe for gluten sensitive individuals. They are also in the process of developing a Gluten Free menu but in the mean time you can ask for almost anything to be modified for the Gluten Free diet.

We give this restaurant FIVE STARS. We're definitely going back.
